Chuck Steak

We just got our first cow butchered and have some chuck steak. I have never cooked this, but others tell me that it is tougher than most kinds of steak. Do any of you have a good recipe or advice for cooking this? |

Tougher beef cuts are great for stews and soups. It helps them get soft enough to chew. Or, you can use those cuts to make very thin slices. They're easiest to slice when they're slightly frozen. Many Asian recipes call for very thin slices of beef. You could also cook them to put in sandwiches instead of regular lunch meat.

Don't have a recipe, but I hear that the crockpot is the way to go with tougher cuts of meat.
Many Blessings,
