Our family's favorite:
Pork Chops in Cream of Mushroom Soup
Brown pork chops, place in crock pot. Salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 or 2 cans cream of mushroom soup. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours. Serve mushroom "gravy" over rice. |

This is a good one.....
one can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken
one box Uncle Ben's Long Grain and Wild Rice
one pound pork chops or chicken
Dump all in a casserole dish. Sprinkle seasoning packet from rice on top. Cook one hour at 350. If you double the recipe you have to cook it longer. It seems it takes quite a while longer. I just usually cook it until the rice is fluffy and all the liquid is gone. We also usually double the rice mixture-we love the rice! |

My dh usually won't eat sweetened meats, but he loves this recipe. Take pork chops and dredge in flour. Brown in skillet on top of stove. When browned, but not cooked through dump in one can of pineapple chunks, undrained. Turn heat to low or med-low and put lid on top. About 15-20 minutes later check meat for doneness. Serve over rice or pasta pouring pan juices over top. This will probably serve a family of 4-5 so if your family is larger just double. I'll bet it can be baked, too. |

Look what I found. THE MACHINE SHED is a fantastic resturant here in IA (and other states too I guess), which specializes in "down on the farm, home cooking". This link is to some recipes that they have posted on their web-site. Maybe you can find something there.
I was doing a search here for Pork when I came across this post. This is sort of a belated reply... but maybe it will help you yet?.

I haven't made this in a very long time but you lay sliced tomato and onion on top of the pork chops and bake them like that. Then you serve with pasta and a marina sauce.
If they are nice and thick you could cut them in half sideways and stuff them with stuffing and bake. |
