I am making a ton of biscuits to bring to my mom's on Thanksgiving. She is short on oven space, so I was thinking of baking them at home right before I left to go over there (3 blocks away) and then putting them in my big crockpots. When I got there I could plug in the crocks and set them on "warm" until we were ready to eat. Do you think this would work?

in a crock pot for too long they might start to get soggy (from the moister that the crocks love to keep it) How about bring them and warming them in a microwave a few minutes before.
Also, just a thought, you can cook the buiscuits bring them over, then after the turkey is out of the oven turn it up high and just heat the biscuit for about 5 minutes, I know in my family we are still getting everything organized 5 minutes after the turkey is out of the oven, so that might work?

I would make them ahead of time, take them to your moms, then when it is time to warm them, put them together in a large piece of foil, brush them with milk, wrap them up and heat for about 5 minutes.
They will taste just like freshly baked biscuits. This trick is great for all leftover or day old breads!

Sounds like a good idea, I wouldn't stack them very high as the weight might squash them when they are hot, Let us know how it works~K

I have done this with cornbread sqares. I just put a kitchen towel over it instead of the lid. Also, you could put a towel under the bread.
