Help me please! I need to know how to make sweet potatoes with marshmellows baked on the top (what do you even call it??). I ate it as a child, but have no clue how to make it. I thought it would be fun to share it with my children for Thanksgiving.

I found something interesting this week. I took cooked sweet potatoes, mashed with butter and some brown sugar with an electric mixer and then baked. Last few minutes I added marshmallows. Tasted just like the other more involved "casseroles" of this I've done. Sure was easy!

Ooohhh one I know!!
This is how I do it. I peel the sweet ptatoes and cut them into smaller pieces and layer them in a baking dish. Pour over the top anything sweet. I used karo syrup and molasses. Sprinkle brown sugar over that. Then add melted butter. Bake until tender. I usually spoon the liqiud over the sweet potatoes a few time while baking. Add mini-marshmellows and brown. These are so yummy. My DD who is in Canada at Bible college requested these for Christmas too. She will be home to eat them then:-)
