One is home made Cream of _____ soup?
the other would be homemade alfredo sauce for over pasta dishes?
I know the awesome Titus 2 cooks can help me out on these! =O)

I have a very simple alfredo sauce recipe...
1/2 pint of half and half
1 stick of sweet butter
4oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
pepper to taste
Melt butter in medium saucepan..add softened cream cheese, half and half, parmaesan cheese and pepper, stir until smooth and then bring to a soft boil and cook 2-3 minutese..pour over cooked pasta..
The half and half really makes this recipe..milk doesn't do it justice..

this is one for cream soups that a lady posted for me, It is really simple, you start with a white sauce and then mix in your flavors
White Sauce:
1 TBSP Butter/Margerine
1 TBSP Flour
1 CUP Milk
Melt butter in saucepan; wisk in flour to form a paste. Wisk in the milk slowly and continue to stir over medium heat to form a sauce.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, use 2 TBSP of Butter & Flour.
CHEESE SAUCE: Stir in a handful of any shredded cheese (the more cheese the yummier!)
MUSHROOM SOUP: Stir in 1 can of drained mushrooms or sauted fresh mushrooms.
CELERY SOUP: Stir in some finely chopped and sauted celery.
