Much of your list was what I was thinking as well--but I need a recipe for the pie crust. Will my normal/usual one work?

Yes! I use my normal pie crust recipe.

The key is:
*Measure in the dry ingredients and pulse to stir.
*Cut the butter/margerine/shortening into chunks and pulse to break it all into small crumbled peices.
*Slowly pour ice cold water into the machine while it is running. Go with the least amount of water needed to pull the ingredients into a ball.

It should not be a wet ball; it shouldn't be crumbly.

Did you get a cookbook with your processor? Those recipes seem to all work great for me! HTH!
